Your baby’s development – 3 to 6 months

Your baby has developed so many communication skills in their first three months of life. By now they will be smiling at you, vocalising and maybe even chuckling. Over the next few months your baby will start to learn how to control their body which means they will have more control over the sounds they make too!

Your everyday interactions now are so important and will make a huge difference to the rate at which your child learns new words. Find out a little more about how your baby is learning to communicate below.
